Audiences just “cain’t say no” to the American classic musical Oklahoma!. Rodger’s and Hammerstein’s ground-breaking show, Oklahoma!, was a box office smash when it opened in 1943 and continues to captivate the heart of America. Houston Family Arts Center (HFAC) brings the production to the Berry Center, 8877 Barker Cypress Rd., Cypress, TX 77433 weekends, July 22-Aug. 6, 2011.
Curly, a handsome, headstrong cowboy and Laurey, a stubborn, spirited farm girl, play out their bumpy love story through memorable music and clever lyrics. Enduring numbers include “People Will Say We’re In Love,” “Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin’,” and “I Cain’t Say No.”
