Pen & Paintbrush Book Club meets

1:30-3:00 p.m., Thursday, April 14, 2011

The Pearl, in partnership with their neighbor, the Barbara Bush Library, presents the Pen & Paintbrush Book Discussion Group.  The book club selects written works that relate to the current exhibitions on display at the museum.  Book club meetings include a discussion and a tour of the current exhibitions with a special emphasis on the common themes they share. The book club meets three times a year, once per exhibition cycle.

For this meeting, the topic of discussion will be Spiral Jetta: A Road Trip through the Land Art of the American West by Erin Hogan and the Pearl’s exhibition by Richard Long, Measured Spaces.

The book club will  meet at the Northgate Forest Conference Room at the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts.  For more information please call the museum at 281.376.6322 or visit their website at
