Family Day: June 11, 10am-5pm
The Kaminari Taiko Drummers will perform at 11:30am and 1:00pm in the Smith Foyer. Our all-day art project will be Japanese-inspired paper people.  Make a woman in kimono or a samurai!  A museum docent will lead a look-and-listen tour for pre-schoolers at 1:30pm. The Origami Station will be open all day.  Help us achieve our goal of making 1,000 cranes for Japan.

Featured Artist Reception: June 16, 6:30pm

The paintings of longtime friend to the Pearl Lesley Humphrey will featured in the Community Gallery during the month of June.  A full artist member of the American Academy of Equine Art, Lesley was selected as the official artist of 2011 Kentucky Derby. Her friends, fellow artists, and the Pearl family are excited to celebrate this honor with her during a lecture and reception on Thursday, June 16 at 6:30pm. All are welcome, though space is limited.  Ladies are encouraged to wear their hats!
