Dion Nissenbaum street-divided

COMING Monday, Nov 16th at 6:30 pm, Community Center Forum Lecture presents second in 2015-2016 Series Cypress Creek Christian Community Center 6823 Cypresswood Drive. Free event open to entire community.

Dion Nissenbaum is a national security reporter based in Washington for The Wall Street Journal. He covers the defense industry and the Pentagon. Previously, Mr. Nissenbaum was based in Kabul, Afghanistan as a senior correspondent for The Wall Street Journal. Before joining the paper, Mr. Nissenbaum served as a Middle East correspondent for McClatchy Newspapers and Knight Ridder Newspapers.

Mr. Nissenbaum released a new book on Sept. 22 called “A Street Divided: Stories from Jerusalem’s Alley of God.” In November, he will be travelling around the U.S. on a tour to promote the book. His stop in Houston will be hosted by the Cypress Creek Christian Community Center (6823 Cypresswood Dr., Spring, TX 77379) on Monday, November 16. Schedule for the evening is:

o   6:00  Meet and greet

o   6:30 Presentation and a reading from the book

o   7:30 Question and Answer Session

o   8:00 Book signing; light refreshments will be served.

The event is free and open to the entire community. It is the second in a new lecture series presenting authors who offer insight into timely current topics. The series is a service of the Cypress Creek Christian Community Center in participation with the Cypress Creek Christian Church. For more information, contact the Community Center at 281-376-7121.
