Cypress Creek FACE announces 2017-18 Season

Cypress Creek FACE is proud to announce their 21st season will feature Just Imagine… The John Lennon Experience, Jackie Evancho, The 5 Browns and more.

“We are excited to announce our 21st season will feature 25 concerts from the Free Children’s Series to the popular Star-Lit! Series concerts. We will offer two summer strings camps and continue our partnership with Klein ISD to provide an Art Day field trip for all 3rd graders in the district. We look forward to providing northwest Houston residents wonderful entertainment options close to home,” said Nanci Decker, Cypress Creek FACE Executive Director.

Just Imagine…The John Lennon Experience will open the season on September 30, 2017. America’s Got Talent star and worldwide sensation Jackie Evancho will perform at The Centrum on November 4, 2017. John Mueller’s Winter Dance Party will kick off the New Year with a re-creation of Buddy Holly’s last tour in 1959. The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra will present “A Salute to Frank Sinatra” on February 3, 2018. Ireland’s own, The Celtic Tenors, will usher in St. Patrick’s Day on March 10, 2018. On April 14, 2018, The 5 Browns will return to The Centrum with their amazing five Steinway pianos. The season ends with Rodney Marsalis’ Philadelphia Big Brass on May 19, 2018. Star-Lit! Series Season tickets for all seven concerts, starting at just $285, are now on sale.

With ten Tuesday afternoon concerts, starting in August, plus one Saturday evening, the Promenades Series will feature opera, pop, dance, brass, and more. Promenade Series season tickets are just $80 if purchased before August 1, 2016.

Chaparral Management will sponsor the Family Series this season. The series continues to feature family friendly artists everyone will enjoy. On October 21, 2017, Garry Krinsky will present his Toying with Science show; the Grammy® nominated Justin Roberts will perform on January 20, 2018; and Cirque-tacular, with their stunning aerial show, on April 21, 2018. Season tickets are available for as low as $30.

The Free Children’s Series will feature Houston Grand Opera’s “Hansel and Gretel”; Ensemble Theatre’s The Toys Take Over Christmas”; Impande Ye Africa will present “Sing Along Africa”; and Lucas Miller, the Singing Zoologist!
